Our Alentejano style working horse farm has four sunny holiday cottages for guests. The cottages have traditionally caned ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, and fully equipped kitchens with hand-painted tiles and locally crafted features throughout. The front terraces are perfect for breakfasts in the morning sun, the secluded back terraces offer a perfect hideaway for reading or sunbathing. For some refreshing morning laps or a post-beach dip, there is an ample swimming pool. 

Casas 1 and 2 have two bedrooms, a queen-size bed, and two single beds; Casas 3 and 4 have one bedroom each with a queen-size bed, and the living rooms sofas can be adapted into comfortable full-sized double beds.

There are common gardens and lawns for lounging, volleyball or kites. The sunset deck with a view of the ocean is also perfect for stargazing and ocean watching. There is a wood fired bread/pizza oven, a veggie garden and a fruit orchard (if you order a home cooked meal or breakfast basket, you’ll be sure to be eating something from them). There is a side porch for lounging and barbeques - maybe delicious freshly caught fish or crabs. Late afternoon seems to be a favorite time to lounge around the pool (Open from April to October) or watch the horses graze. We hope you come visit and partake

 

For our guests who want a truly relaxing stay, we have breakfast baskets available upon request. 

Baskets cost €7 per person, our breakfast baskets highlight our wonderful fresh local products and include the following: 

• Freshly baked bread from the bakery in Zambujeira 

• Local cheeses 

• Assortment of ham, paio, and other charcuterie 

• Grass fed butter 

• Homemade jam with fruit from our orchard 

• Seasonal fruit, from our orchard whenever possible

• Homemade breakfast cake 

• 6 fresh eggs from grandma’s chickens (additional cost of €1.50)
